Xiaomi 11T series will launch as the Redmi K40S series in China in November
2 min readThis isn’t much of a surprise considering last year’s Mi 10T was announced in China because the Redmi K30S, so there have been already speculations the new Xiaomi 11T series also will be sold in China under the Redmi K series.
The Redmi K40S is claimed to possess been sent to TENAA for certification but it won’t be the sole one launching. The Chinese publication, ITHome, reports that there’ll be three models all with varying charging speeds. the bottom model will have support for 33W fast charging, the quality model will charge at 67W, and therefore the high-end model will support 120W fast charging.
Since the Xiaomi 11T series only has two models, meaning the third model with support for 33W fast charging may be a different device entirely. Maybe this third model will eventually launch later because the Xiaomi 11T Lite 5G for the worldwide market.
It features a lso been reported that one among the phones will have a Snapdragon 870 processor whereas the Xiaomi 11T has a Dimensity 1200 processor while the Xiaomi 11T Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 888. supported these details, Xiaomi appears to be making some changes to the series for the Chinese market which isn’t unusual. While it’s a practice of launching its phones under different names in several markets, there are usually some small changes between them.
The source adds that the Redmi K40S is reported to be released in time for the Double Eleven festival in November. So we should always expect a late October or first week in November launch.
